A job opportunity has arisen in our organisation for the position of Leaf Services Manager. JOB OPPORTUNITY LEAF SERVICES MANAGER Reporting to the General Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the Crop Science and Value Chain department which offers agronomy and leaf (tobacco) production services, among other things. Pyxus Agriculture Limited does not directly contract with the tobacco farmers for their tobacco crop but provides agronomy and production services to its customers in Malawi. The successful applicant will be responsible for direct communication with the company’s customers in all matters related to the job. Qualifications & Experience: University Degree in Agro Business / Agriculture, Not less than 8 years’ experience in Management & Leadership with sound Agricultural Technical Knowledge including knowledge of tobacco production & Stakeholder engagement. The Person: The successful candidate must be versatile enough with strong liaison and networking abilities, influencing & demonstrable negotiation skills, communication and reporting skills, Problem analysis and problem-solving skills, The incumbent must have a good track record in Managing an agro-business, and the ability to relate to a diverse group of people and have business acumen, The incumbent must be mature and reliable.
